For these refillable makeup cases, upcycled denim, sourced from dormant stocks of major fashion houses via Nona Source, is combined with gold-finish metal components. The finishing and decoration techniques include embossing, background printing, gold and shadow effects, and gold embroidery. The manufacturing challenges included managing the variability of upcycled fabrics and adapting the textile to complex shapes.
